Silver Hair Visa is a new visa issued by Indonesian Immigration. Silver Hair itself targets retirement-age tourists who want to enjoy retirement in Indonesia. If you want to apply for a Silver Hair Visa you must be at least 60 years old and deposit funds in a state-owned bank account to meet the requirements. 

This visa is one of the golden visas which targets tourists who want to stay in Indonesia for up to 5 years, either through individual or corporate investment. You can leave and enter Indonesia as much as you want during the visa validity. 

Foreigners can use this VISA for:

  1. Live in Indonesia.
  2. Travel to and from Indonesia as many times as you want.

 

After this Visa is issued, you must report accounts in state-owned banks to the immigration office within 90 days after the date of entry. Also, you must be financially sufficient during your stay in Indonesia. This type of visa targets to increase Indonesia’s investing power, thus USD 50,000 must be invested in a state-owned bank account.

Requirements From Applicant

  1. Valid Nationality Passport at least 6 (six) months
  2. Proof of living expenses for oneself and/or his/her family of at least US$ 2,000 (two thousand US Dollars) or equivalent
  3. Latest color photograph
  4. Statement of commitment that the applicant will deposit funds in an account in his/her own name worth at least US$50,000 (fifty thousand US dollars) in a state-owned bank
  5. Proof of income or benefits with a minimum value of US$3,000 (three thousand US Dollars) per month
